Play Monopoly: On the Money Slot Machine For Free
Monopoly: On The Money is only one of the many games that developers have created with a Monopoly inspired theme.
Hasbro, the owners of the board game, have sold it to pretty much anyone that wanted it, and so there are branded titles released by Barcrest, IGT and WMS right now, at least 10 slot machines to choose from if you’re a fan.
I didn’t find the most impressive design in this particular slot. The look relies partially on the playing cards, and for the rest on Monopoly inspired symbols that don’t have the highest quality either.
Besides the five playing cards, which go from a 10 to the A, the other symbols include three which have stacks of cash in them, a game logo and three that have tokens like the Hat, Dog and Cat. Feature symbols appear to include one that has a Wild and another one with the message Collect Free Spins As You Pass Go.
Developer
Barcrest is not a company that specializes in online gaming, and that’s actually visible in the way their games end up looking. They usually end up with a clunky design, dated and basically the kind of thing that you’d expect from the casino floor in a real establishment.
The company began in 1968, and they were bought by IGT in 1998, and then by Scientific Games in 2011. They have their fair share of slot machines for the online market, but I’m rarely impressed with the graphics they put out.

How To Play It
One way to play the game is to set up the total bet, which can start from $0.10 and ends up at a maximum value of $500. Because you’re using 10 active lines, the line bets will range from $0.01 to $50.
An alternative in most Barcrest slots is to use the Big Bet. There are four possible bet values here, of $20, $30, $40 and $50. Each bet value covers 5 linked spins and it gives you certain features that help make the slot more profitable than the base game in pretty much all games where the Big Bet is used.
Special Features
The symbol that’s telling you about collecting free spins as you go will behave as a scatter symbol, similar to the way it’s used in other slots. Having 3, 4 or 5 such symbols positioned on the reels will get you 10, 15 or 20 spins for free.
For their duration, you get Mr Monopoly symbols on the reels, which offer the game’s biggest payouts, of up to $125,000. It also acts as a wild and it collects cash multipliers that are shown on the reels, to be applied to the total stake.
Big Bets have advantages like persistent scatter symbols, plus they can also act as wilds, which is great since they’re locked in their positions until the Big Bet Spins are over. Red Hot Respins, extra free spins, plus taller reels (House and Hotel Extensions features), these are all offered during Big Bet rounds.
Maximum Payouts
The slot will have a Return to Player that varies with the wager that is used. It’s at 94% for wagers of less than $2, at 96% for those higher than $2, while the Big Bet spins will have an expected return of 97.75%. As for the top jackpot that is offered, that one is given during free spins, with a value of $125,000.
Summary
Monopoly: On The Money is a game that is complex and which is based on the most popular board game of all times. It’s not getting the best graphics, but it has plenty of things to attract the board game’s fans.
